ICA is a leading accreditation and certification body for agile training. ICA provides formal, third-party quality assurance of agile courses and course instructors and issues globally-recognized certifications to individuals who complete accredited courses.

Unlike framework-specific certifications, ICA's programs focus on cultivating an agile mindset, ensuring the knowledge you gain is applicable across various teams and industries.

ICA collaborates with industry experts to develop comprehensive learning outcomes, maintains rigorous accreditation standards for courses, and regularly reviews courses to ensure they meet high-quality benchmarks.

The first option is to join one of our member organizations that provide training. For example, if you'd like to teach courses in "Agile Coaching", you can see the member organizations who are currently providing courses here under the "Training Providers" section. You can reach out to any training provider to see if they are looking for new instructors. The second option is to become a member organization. You can learn more about that process on our Membership page.

If you have attended an ICA-accredited class, your learning provider will create your ica-certified.com account, if you don’t already have one. You will then receive an email from ICA with instructions on how to access your account and claim your certification.

Typically learning providers will set up your account within 10 business days of completing the course. If you don’t receive an email from ICA within that time frame, we recommend you contact the learning provider to inquire about your account status. We also recommend asking which email your account was created with.

Once you log in to your icagile.com account, navigate to “View Profile” under “Quick Links.” In the “Credly Digital Badges” section, select "Connect my Account with Credly" and save your changes. Credly will automatically email you with next steps to claim your badge.

At this time, we only offer badges tied to certifications in Credly. Instructor Authorization badges or Official Member Organization badges may be introduced in the future.

If you have more than one icagile.com account, you can merge them into one profile. Please complete this form for assistance.

To prevent creating duplicate accounts in the future, ensure the email you use when registering for a class is the same email as your existing icagile.com account.

Please use the form at the bottom of this page to request an update to your personal information. You can always update your country and opt-in/out preferences by navigating to “View Profile” in your account.

Please contact info@ica-certified.com or log in to your ica-certified.com and use the “Delete My Account” option in your Profile Settings.

Warning: By deleting your ica-certified.com account, you will delete any record of your ICA certifications and you will no longer be able to access them. In addition, ICA will not be able to acknowledge or verify your certifications.

To earn an ICA certification, you must satisfactorily complete an ICA-accredited class(es). You are required to be present during all Learning Outcomes covered in the course and must meet the class acceptance criteria as determined by the Instructor in accordance with the Member Organization’s policies to be eligible for certification. Member Organizations may have additional requirements.

Each ICA Member Organization determines the cost of their class. Select a class on the Find A Class tool and then visit the Member Organization website where you can register and view more class-specific information such as pricing, timing, location, and more.

Through the accreditation process, ICA verifies that every training provider assesses student knowledge before the student earns a credential or certification. Assessment may be completed through in-class activities, group exercises, or an exam, as determined by the training provider. Please contact the training provider to find out if they incorporate exams.

ICA provides recommended experience on each certification page to ensure a high-quality learning experience. Each Member Organization has the ability to add specific requirements, too. Visit a certification page and the Member Organization's website to learn more about prerequisites for a class.

You do not need a membership as a student. There are no membership fees and your account is automatically created after your first class. If you are looking to deliver training, you can learn more about joining as a Member Organization here.

Search for a class using the Find A Class tool on the ICA website and click on the class you’re interested in. On the class details page, click on the “See pricing,” button to see pricing and registration instructions.

Refund policies are determined by individual training providers. Please contact your course provider directly to inquire about their cancellation and refund policies.

As ICA is not affiliated with any other certification programs, we recommend reaching out to your instructor or course provider to find out if your course qualifies for continuing education units.

After completing your course and post-class survey, ICA will issue and email your certificate and/or credential as a shareable PDF. This process typically occurs within ten business days.

Returning Users

‍Sign in to your icagile.com account and complete your post-class survey. (You will see a pending action on your dashboard to complete a class survey on the Welcome page.) After you submit your survey, we’ll issue and send your certification to your email address as a shareable PDF. A copy of your certification will also be available for download at any time under the Your Credentials header.

New Users

If this is your first class with an ICA Member Organization, you’ll receive an email with a link to create your icagile.com profile within ten business days of completing your class. Sign in to your new account and complete your post-class survey. After you submit your survey, we’ll issue and send your certification to your email address as a shareable PDF. A copy of your certification will also be available for download at any time under the Your Credentials header.

If you have not received an email to create your icagile.com profile after ten business days, please contact your ICA Member Organization.

Once you have earned an ICA-accredited credential or certification, they are yours to keep. We don’t charge any renewal fees or require continuing education credits. We want you to be able to invest your time and resources into continuing your learning journey.
